Who Is Maya?

Hello Beautiful Soul,

My name is Maya Atlasov, and I am first and foremost, a student of life. I am also a sister, a daughter, a friend, and a lover of all things beautiful and true. I am here to continuously practice coming home to my deepest self and to create a safe space for others to find their own way home.

My background:

I was born and raised in the Bay Area by two immigrants. At the age of 18 I left my hometown to attend an educational gap year program in Israel which was followed by several solo backpacking trips around India and Southeast Asia where I was able to deepen my knowledge of culture, religion, spirituality, and identity. Traveling alone at a young age allowed me to get clear on what my passion and purpose is - to heal myself and support others through their own healing. After living abroad for the majority of the last 8 years, I have decided to come back "home" and share my knowledge and passion with my community.

• Sivananda Ashram - 200 hr certification in Hatha Yoga

• Semperviva - 75 hr certification in Yin Yoga  

• Yoga Garden - 75 hr certification in children yoga.

• Institute for Integrative Nutrition - certified holistic health coach.

• NASM - certified personal trainer 

• DONA International - Birth Doula certified

• Spinning Babies - Spinning babies qualified

• Reichman University - Undergraduate degree in Psychology 

• San Jose State - Masters in Counseling Psychology
